Once again, Delphine Films brings a new banner to its repertoire. Lonely Animals are about a professor who is stuck in a loveless marriage. She craves her husband’s attention played by Danny Mountain and gets nothing in return. Making her Delphine debut is Louisiana native Alina Ali next to Codey Steele, and Danny Mountain.
Alina is teaching a class, talking about animal behaviors. She was explaining the dynamic between species and their instinct toward monogamy and lifetime partners. “Studies show that termites sometimes stay with their partners for up to 20 years. Weird, right? Many human marriages don’t even last that long.” — she says.
After getting turned down multiple times, she starts fantasizing about one of her students. She stages a scene in her home to make it look like she had a party and she is pretending to be a hangover. Alina Calls for some help and Codey accepts immediately. While Codey is cleaning, she comes back wearing red lace lingerie and a robe. She asks if he would like to watch a silent movie upstairs. “I like silent movies, is like meditating, keeps me present. Like I hear nothing but everything” — she says. She extends her hand slowly down his chest, and they both know what is about to happen.
"We wanted to portray that Alina Ali and Codey Steele unleash their wild side in "Lonely Animals”ving for more. This was my first time working with Alina Ali and she is a sweetheart, down-to-earth, and professional. She played the part exactly how I imagined. Can’t wait to work with her again." —Said the Director of Delphine Films, Bloomer Yang.
